Usage & Maintenance Guidelines
- Rinse Before Use: Briefly rinse the Bio-Cubelets with aquarium or RO/DI water prior to installation to clear any settling dust from shipping.
- Placement: Place the cubelets inside a mesh media bag or directly into an area of gentle water flow within your sump, media reactor, or filter compartment.
- Routine Care: Rinse gently in removed aquarium water during routine water changes every 6 months to clear accumulated detritus. Avoid cleaning all media simultaneously to preserve active bacterial colonies.
