Description
Red Sea ReefSense Salinity Calibration Solution (5-Pack)
Keep Your ReefControl Salinity Monitoring Accurate and Consistent
Salinity stability is one of the most critical parameters in a healthy saltwater reef aquarium. Over time, conductivity/salinity probes naturally accumulate bio-film or experience subtle sensor drift. The Red Sea ReefSense Salinity Calibration Solution provides high-precision laboratory reference fluid specifically formulated to recalibrate your Red Sea ReefSense Salinity & Temperature probes.
Pre-mixed to the industry gold-standard 53.1 mS/cm conductivity (35 PSU / 1.0264 S.G.), each single-use foil sachet ensures completely fresh, evaporation-free calibration fluid every time you tune your probe through the ReefBeat app.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Targeted Reef Calibration: Calibrated precisely to 53.1 mS/cm (35 PSU) at 25°C (77°F) — matching standard natural seawater salinity for maximum real-world accuracy.
-
Hermetically Sealed Sachets: Sealed in 20ml single-use foil pouches to eliminate the risk of evaporation, air contamination, or residue buildup common with opened multi-use fluid bottles.
-
Streamlined ReefControl Integration: Sized and formulated for guided step-by-step calibration directly within the ReefBeat mobile app.
-
5-Pack Value: Includes 5 individual sachets, providing plenty of calibration cycles for your routine maintenance schedule throughout the year.
What’s Included

Pro-Tip: Salinity Calibration Best Practices
-
Clean the Probe Tip First: Before calibrating, gently clean any algae, microbubbles, or biological buildup off the conductivity sensor using fresh RO/DI water and a soft brush.
-
Temperature Acclimation: Float the unopened sachet in your sump water for 5–10 minutes prior to calibration so the calibration fluid reaches the exact same temperature as your aquarium.
-
Submerge Completely & Clear Bubbles: When submerging the probe tip into the sachet, gently swirl the probe to dislodge any trapped micro air bubbles from the conductivity cell, as trapped air will cause falsely low salinity readings.
