The ATI Blue Plus is arguably the most popular T5 bulb in the reef aquarium hobby. It is specifically engineered to emphasize the blue spectrum of light, which is critical for both the health of photosynthetic corals and the visual "pop" of their fluorescent colors.

Recommended Use
The Blue Plus is a versatile tool for light mixing. Because of its high PAR, it can be used as a primary light source or as a heavy supplement.

For a "Balanced" Look: Mix with ATI Aquablue Special or ATI Coral Plus.

For a "Deep Sea" Look: Run a 4-bulb or 6-bulb fixture using primarily Blue Plus bulbs with one ATI Purple Plus to bring out pink and purple pigments.

Replacement Schedule: To maintain optimal coral growth and prevent spectrum degradation, it is recommended to replace these bulbs every 9 to 12 months.
