Predator Tank Maintenance: UV Sterilizers, Flow Rates, and Algae Control | Newbie Tank Build 2.0

In this episode, we’re diving deep into the technical maintenance of my FOWLR Tank. Following some great community feedback, I’m tackling a major adjustment to my return pump flow, bumping it up to 75% to improve circulation, and discussing how to dial in the Red Sea diaphragm valve for that perfect balance. I also walk through a complete sump overhaul, including the importance of replacing UV sterilizer bulbs sooner than the manufacturer suggests to maintain that crystal-clear water polish. Plus, I share my "scorched earth" approach to a green hair algae outbreak in my reef tank using Flux Rx, and I have a bittersweet update on rehoming the Panther Grouper to ensure a better long-term environment for Petey the Puffer.
