Description

TRUE TFC High Silicate Rejection Membrane  - Made in the USA!

*** If you upgrade (or downgrade) to a different Gallon per day RO Membrane; BE SURE to get the correct flow restrictor to match your membrane

These top of the line membranes fit any standard residential membrane housing.

This RO Membrane is rated at 100 GPD (or Gallons per Day) - that translates 100 Gallons in 24 hours.

Features

  • 98.6% Stabilized Rejection
  • Operating pH from 2 to 12 Tolerating a pH of 1 Short Term
  • Maximum Temperature 110 degrees F
  • Non-Chlorine Tolerant

Reverse osmosis is the finest level of filtration available. The RO membrane acts as a barrier to all dissolved salts and inorganic molecules, as well as organic molecules. Feed water flows along the membrane surface under pressure. Purified water permeates the membrane and is collected, while the concentrated water, containing dissolved and undissolved material that does not flow through the membrane, is discharged to the waste-water line.

Removes up to 99% of Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, Manganese, Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Nickel , Cadmium, Silver, Zinc, Mercury, Hardness Ca & Mg, Radioactivity, Chloride, Ammonium, Bromide, Phosphate, Chromate, Cyanide, Sulfate, Thiosulfate, Silicate, Silica, Nitrate , Boron, Borate, Fluoride, Polyphosphate, Orthophosphate, Chromate, Bacteria, Uranium, Arsenic, Lead.

* Output based on 65PSI, 77°F, 250ppm TDS water input over a 24-hour period. Lower pressure, cooler water temperature or higher TDS will reduce output. A booster pump is highly recommended if pressure is below 45 PSI.

A couple of things to check when the unit is slowing down after a full filter change

  1.  The flow restrictor maybe deformed over time, not providing sufficient back pressure.
  2.  Always note, when the incoming water is colder the production of RO water is slower.
  3.  Try reinserting the membrane, occasionally this will do the trick.
  4.  Make certain the flow restrictor is the correct size for the membrane.
