Insane 15,000L German Reef Tank System! (13-Meter Drop Off & Multi-Floor Sump) | Reefing Roadtrip

Tour one of the most insane, self-sustaining reef systems in Germany at GigaZoo! From a massive 5,000-liter living room display powered by Tunze Orca powerheads to a downhill plumbing setup connecting multiple sumps in the basement, this massive 15,000-liter total saltwater system pushes the boundaries of reef keeping. Store owner Franz takes us through his ultra-minimalist philosophy—running a single return pump, one calcium reactor, and one skimmer with zero filter socks, carbon, or GFO to build a self-regulating biotope. Plus, check out the world's longest drop-off frag tank stretching nearly 13 meters across the store! Discover how smart flow control, biotope biology, and German engineering come together in this one-of-a-kind reef tour.
